Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and define project goals and objectives in Primavera P6 in line with the Contract master programme.
Produce and monitor short- and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players in the project team.
Plan coordinate and monitor all activities/processes on the project and update the project schedule in line with actual progress.
Oversee schedules and risk management plans in order to provide early warnings where the project schedule may be compromised.
Work closely with the construction team in order to keep them informed on the activities they should currently be working on and those that they should be planning for.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and other trades to coordinate the various requirements throughout the build process.
Create baseline schedule and support the Project Director and Construction Manager when reviewing the baseline schedule.
Update the working programme to reflect site instruction, variations and delays.
Gather actual data, update the project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecasts with the support of the project team.
Prepare and present regular internal and external reports for the management and Client.
Make recommendations and implement modifications to the schedule to improve efficiency and safety, in order to achieve the planned milestones.
Work with the construction supervisors in production of their two week look ahead schedules making sure they are in line with the project programme.
Collaboration with designers, client and other trades as and when required for purposes updating of the project schedule.
Resource load the schedule with pricing allowables, for purposes of resource management.
