Assist the Regional Manager in managing business and operations on the Regional level
Continually review and improve business processes to improve productivity and add value to company services.
Help ensure the financial well being of the company from a legal, statutory and management perspective.
Ensure that cost control programs are effectively implemented and monitored to manage unit costs.
Support the region to improve liquidity through good capital and debtor management.
Plan and implement corrective actions to improve service and transit time performance whilst managing costs.
To drive and implement local integration.
Enable the achievement of service performance that meets or exceeds customer expectations and differentiates the company from the competitors.
Extensively analyses complex multi-dimensional issues and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing methods and techniques.
Explores and exploits growth opportunities.
Builds, develops and maintains effective working relationships with important internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure regional and global service standards are met or exceeded.
Liaise with key and strategically important customers at the appropriate level to ensure customer retention, development and growth of new business.
Ensure improvement of Customer Satisfaction over time through customer service initiatives and strategies delivering service.
Create, maintain and develop a favourable company image with its various influential audiences such as NGOs, partners, industry bodies and governments to facilitate the company's growth and development.

Required Skills

5 Years of Experience
Tertiary qualification and relevant commercial / business qualifications essential<br> 5 years experience in Senior Management or General Management experience in the freight / logistics / aviation industry or within similar business experience<br> Broad understanding of all functional aspects of the business and prior experience managing a complete Profit and Loss entity<br> High degree of business acumen and understanding of the external economic environment and how this may affect the company's short and long term planning<br> Budgeting and Cost controlling skills<br> Willingness to do extensive travel<br> Fluent in English , Portuguese and French<br>
