The role will hold the following key responsibilities:
Create and implement all policies and procedures to establish a well-functioning Sales and Marketing department.
Assist in hiring, training, motivating, and supervising the marketing and sales team.
Guide and direct all facets of sales and marketing including sales, branding, advertising, optimization, e-mail marketing, social media platforms, content marketing, and entertainment and events planning.
Establishing new and maintaining existing accounts to exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
Organise promotional events at the Hotel or in Malawi, and participate in familiarisation tours and industry trade shows.
Write contracts and proposals, negotiate deals and partnerships and handle complaints or objections.
Be an active member of the revenue management team to determine strategies to optimise revenue opportunities, and implement initiatives to drive revenue and maintain costs.
Manage graphic designers on all advertising and collateral creation.
Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.
We are looking for 2 Key Account Managers from the FMCG industry
You must have FMCG industry experience
Must have clients and contacts in the FMCG industry
The role will require you to drive sales for the company in Malawi
You will be required to hit targets set by the company
You will need to use and update client record cards
You will need to produce monthly sales reports
You will need to place client orders on line at site so must be computer literate
You will be expected to start 'small' by working with local clients in Blantyre but as you progress there is a large scope for you to grow in the company and focus on clients across the country
