Reviewing technical contract documents and engineering reviews.
Perform progressive quality control and testing functions.

Estimating construction costs.
SolidWorks and AutoCad Proficiency.
Working knowledge of international building codes such as IBC, ASCE, BS, SBC, EN Code) will be advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Liaise with clients, Design work, report to the manager.
Produce accurate and complete drawings using both AutoCad and SolidWorks.
Accurately interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Ability to work on several ongoing projects at the same time.
Check all drawings before sending to drawings manager for approval.
Preparation of complete fabrication drawing to issue to the fabrication shop floor including AWS welding symbols.
Able to analyze drawings.
Able to do a Bill of Quantities.
Visit the site and do site surveys.
Strong Communication Skills.
Able to take directions.
Team and Individual player.
Willing to work long hours.
Duties Includes Management and Control of the Installations through:
Health and Safety: Ensuring all personnel are equipped with the correct Personal Protective Equipment, Uniforms, hard hats and boots at all times.
Training of all personnel to conduct /record site Tool box topics Safety meetings, and Equipment / site / scaffold safety checks and inspections
Training of all personnel to take measurements correctly using the site measurements book.
Site measurements for prospective works and current existing clientele / contracts
Ensuring that Weather proofing and Security standards are met and maintained at all times for every Frame installed.
Site installation management of the charge hands and teams.
Management and accountability of, Frames, Glass, Site Consumables and Materials.
Daily Site installation inspections and quality control.
Site Variations liaison, management and interaction with the Client, site teams and workshop.
Interaction and coordination with sales and operations management.
Quality control and inspection of the final finished product
Ensure that weaknesses in fabrication, installations, and training are identified and corrective action taken
Residential and Commercial Building Development
Planning - Producing a critical path and understanding timing of each building stage
Resource Allocation - Materials, Tools, etc.
Setting Benchmarks - Monitoring Progress to determine if the building will finish on time.
Budget Management - continually forecasting progress in relation to budget
Financial and budget management (monitoring budget reports)
Delegation & Motivation (on site management, team meetings)
General Construction knowledge
Creates detailed designs from schematics and or customer inquiry forms
Identifies market white spaces and develops products to fill them
Identifies material for detailed materials report for manufacturing purposes(internally referred to as ‘Q codes’) Approves final Q Codes
Generates, reviews and documents the Quality Control Plan for each project
Produces a design criterion for agreed/given allowable
Conducts QA/QC on specific aspects of projects
Manages project team and sub-contractor delivery of quality projects on time and budget
Supervises Site Agents and construction teams, sets targets and quality control procedures in line with SOPs and performance parameters set by the Projects Executive
Coordinates with the Commercial Department to ensure budget and allowables parameters are realistic, and monitors project performance against budget
Ensures client satisfaction with project progress and quality
Reports on project progress
Implements and monitors compliance with Project Division Policies and SOPs
Must have design & implementation experience, preferably seeing projects through from conceptualisation to delivery
Planning, leading, organizing and supervising day to day activities of various construction projects for the company.
Quality Control of construction and budgeting for department.
Planning and organising personnel, materials and schedules for work and employees engaged on projects.
Issuing SOPs and implementing safety standard as well as performance appraisal of subordinates.
Relationship with all workshop personnel, site supervisor and other colleagues at work.
Good working knowledge of MS Office & MS Project and the ability to learn how to use specialist software if need arises.
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
The ability to negotiate.
