Manage formulation systems – upgrades, formulation procedures
Set and control global raw material specifications(STL Base Matrix)
Set and control all global feed specifications(Nutrients, Raw Material Bounds, Additives)
Control all feed and raw material specification adjustments
Set all Raw Material and Feed Quality Control requirement
Investigate and sign off all feed related claims
Technical support and liaison for farms
Technical support for the feed mill team
Initiate trails required
Improving the productivity of the operation by managing and implementing a Production Improvement Program(PIP)
Safeguarding all the intellectual assets of the feed milling operation provided to the staff in the best interest of the company
Working 5 days a week in which weekend is the normal days off
Working hours from 7h00am to 17h00pm Mon – Fri

Qualifications
Must have a B.Sc (Agriculture) degree with a post graduate qualification in Animal Nutrition <br> Must Possess a clean valid Driver’s License <br> The following would be highly desirable: <br> Degree or Post- Graduate Degree in Poultry Science <br> Knowledge of Basic Management Accounting <br> Knowledge of Risk Audits <br> Knowledge of Poultry Diseases and Nutrition <br> Knowledge of managing a Feed Laboratory <br>
Key Skills
At least 5 years' experience in Feed Milling Industry
Experience in management of trials, feed formulation and quality control
Technical competence and in depth knowledge of all aspects of Feed Formulation
Technical competence and in depth knowledge of all aspects of Raw Material Brokering
Ability to communicate well and interact effectively
Ability to learn quickly and be competent in areas which he is not familiar with
Good communication skills and good people management abilities
Ability to interact with persons from widely different nationalities and cultures
Computer literacy
Ability to motivate and create a team spirit
Highly numerate, planning and analytical
Knowledge of Bio-Security
Good verbal and written skills
