The role is directly accountable for the following outputs that constitute the main tasks of the position:
-Develop and implement learning and development strategy for target audience.
Enhance channels of learning and development delivery to include train the trainer programmes; expo’s; talks; and electronic learning methods which may involve interactive Internet-based training, multimedia programs, distance learning, satellite training, videos and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and workshops.
-Conduct and co-ordinate learning and development programmes for target audience and staff.
-Ensure that the learning and development strategic direction offer a way of skills development i.e. leadership or executive development programmes, enhancing productivity and quality of work, and building loyalty to the company.
-Be innovative and staying abreast of current trends to improve learning and development programmes i.e. research most effective methods of adult learning theory and applying the best methods for adult learning.
-Developing relationships or partnerships with relevant learning institutes and government bodies.
-Ensure implementation of new learning and development initiatives as included in Business Strategic Direction
-Work together with Physical Presence manager to increase service levels within the physical presence environment.
-Manage and co-ordinate all learning activity for new product launches and expert speaker visits.
-Renegotiate learning and development supplier contracts together with the General Manager as required.
-Contribute to relevant publications
Native speaker of the language in the market he/she represents.
Fluency in English (level Advanced/Proficiency).
Exceptional work standards.
Must be highly passionate about the development of others.
Have a big picture view on how the business strategy ties in with National Governments Skills Framework
Develop and implement the training strategy.
Excellent public speaking/presentation skills.
Extensive and current knowledge or insight with regards to leadership and business development.
Advanced PC skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point,Outlook, the Internet and Oracle
Good written and verbal skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a multinational team and environment.
Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated.
Minimum Matric Qualification required.
5 -10 years successful experience working in related role.
Have an understanding of Skills Development e.g. NQF, SAQA,
Direct Selling Management Experience would be benificial
Knowledge of the South African Market would be benificial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that support all levels of leadership.
High level of public speaking/presentation skills.
Must have own transport
