Our Client is a leading manufacturing Company based in Tanzania and recruiting for a Managing Director to oversee and run the Company which is rapidly expanding.

Job Summary
This position requires making decisions on behalf of the company and act in its best interests. The position holder is expected to always be aware of the financial position of the company and required to make decisions with that in mind. He/she will be the custodian of the company confidential information and and ensure that such information is protected from mis use. The managing Director is responsible for the day to day running of the company business.
Main Responsibilities include but not limited to :
In charge of the company Business Strategy and Management
Monitor company Investments and Financing
Impliment Internal Controls and Risk Management
Ensure management and development of company succesion planning
Manage the operational performance of the company and policies as well as procedures.
Manage the company corporate visibility Image and public relations.
Oversee the company mission, vision and goals in all assigned tasks, monitoring and reporting matters.
Ensure the successful acheivement of objectives and execution of strategy as approved.
Optimizing as far as is reasonably possible the use of and adquate of company resources.
Examining all trae investments and mojor capital expenditure of the company and recommend which are material either by nature or cost.
Approving all major proposals of the company.
Managing the company risk profile including the health performance of the business in line with the extent of acceptable business risk.
Ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard the company business from risk.
Making recommendations on renumeration policy of the executive staff and terms of employment of the the senior executive team.
Provide effective communication with all stakeholders and ensure timely and accurate disclosure to all concerned parties.
Setting up the management development and succession plan for the senior executive team and approving appointment asn termination of that team.
Regularly review the operational performance and strategic direction of the company business.
Ensure effective implementation of executive team decisions.
Supervising all the activities, roles and responsiblities of the senior executive team.
Build and maintain an effective executive team to drive the company goals and objectives.
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and conform to the highest standards.
Provide coherent leadership of the company including representing the company to customers, suppliers, government, financial institutions, employees, the media, the community and public at large.
Guide the company in developing new products or services and attracting customers with objective of increasing company profits as well as develop strategy for promoting the company products.
Co-ordinate the efforts of other departments of the company to meet company goals.
Closely monitor the operating and financial result against the plans and budgets of the company.

Key Skills
Qualifications and Competencies
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Human Resource or field that is relevant to the company specific industry.
At least 5 years experience in a senior managerial role of one or more companies relevant to company specific industry.
