Assists the marketing manager to create engaging written, graphic and video content for the website and marketing materials. Implement digital marketing strategies, using SEO, PPC, Social Media and other techniques to drive traffic to company pages and generate leads for the company. Pro-actively stay up-to-date on latest digital marketing methods, technologies and social media trends
Junior Digital Marketing Manager Job Duties
Assist with the creation of content for our new website with the explicit view to convert visitors and build our email database
Be able to apply SEO principles to all content (where relevant) – including keyword research
Assist in the actual writing of blogs, content for infographics, videos, brochures and press releases
Create and schedule Social Media content and images (on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google . Schedule using Hootsuite)
With the content created, do a monthly newsletter
Assist in writing customer journeys and content for marketing automation emails
Assist in creating and placing advertisements: creating content and images for LinkedIn, Facebook and PP. Create needed landing pages and tracking
Evaluate marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software (Google Analytics) and assess the results Liaise with graphic and website designers when needed, but this role will need to be hands-on with working on the website, creating images and infographics in-house
Be the main point of contact for external designers and printers if used
Help with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses of competitors
Great interpersonal skills: A personable manner, a proclivity for team-working and adaptability are all important Self starter and hands-on: Able to create and implement all initiatives in-house. Able to learn on the job. Can work independently – within strong guidelines. Limited work with agencies or other third parties in the beginning.
