Job Description
Capture supplier invoices and credit notes on Syspro (straight-posted invoices).
Ensure ad hoc non-merchandise invoices are approved by heads of the department before payment.
Submit invoices to Assistant Accountant for travel and other prepayment balance sheet recons, where required.
Follow up on Pro-forma invoices and quotes for tax invoices, after payment was made.
Ensure that a complete invoice document pack is filed (PO, LCT report, authorization, and invoice).
Prepare and process supplier debit notes for stock returns or claims.
Process other income invoices (OIAP branch) om foreign debtors for supplier claims e.g. marketing claims, and stock
claims.
Ensure new supplier forms are completed internally. Complete credit applications and obtain.
Set up new suppliers on Syspro and load new beneficiaries on Nedtreasury, and submit for approval.
Maintain up-to-date supplier details on Syspro, Nedtreasury, and TradeCloud, where applicable.
Correspond with suppliers and the Italian Office, and resolve all outstanding queries timeously.
Send letters to suppliers to resolve queries or to inform suppliers of new processes.

Required Skills
Bookkeeping or similar financial qualification.
1 – 3 years experience in a similar position.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel) & knowledge of Syspro or accounting packages.
Good planning, organization skills & attention to detail.
