Job Description
Supervising, training and carrying out soil, leaf, water, fertilizer and other sample
preparations, in the laboratory
- Implementation of ISO 17025 standards and adherence to internal and external
quality control
- Implementation and continuous improvement of the laboratory quality manual
- Administration of the laboratory including management of: stock, suppliers, clients,
Supporting and promote field trials for new fertilizers with Client, local Universities and other organizations.
Customer relationship establishment / management.
Technical selling understanding to growers and distributors.
Managing, maintaining, and growing the base business in the assigned regional geography.
Must possess a strong understanding of sound agronomic practices in a multitude of row, vegetable, and other crops.
Mentoring/managing grower and distributor relationships supporting and growing product demand at both levels for products.
Providing technical support to end use customers on the use of fertilizers.
Writing and publishing papers in peer review and general journals.
Knowing and understanding the financial expectations of the sales budget.

Required Skills
a minimum of 3 years of commercial and / or technical experience with a local or international company involved with fertilizers or seeds
BS degree in Agronomy, Weed Science, or related field
A minimum of 7 years of commercial and / or technical experience with a local or international company involved with fertilizers or seeds
.Coursework in Plant Science, Soil Science, Plant Health and Plant Nutrition strongly preferred.
MSc in chemistry, soil science, agronomy or any related field
- Minimum ten years of experience in a routine agricultural or food laboratory
- Minimum ten years experience in a senior laboratory management position
