Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and the achievement of Key Performance Indicators of the Operation.
Responsible for overall performance of the Operation aligned to the Business Unit Strategy.
To lead the Operation and the daily management and coordination of plant activities and resources.
To ensure compliance to legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
Key Skills
8-10 years’ experience in a management role at senior level within a cement manufacturing facility.
In-depth cement manufacturing experience.
A natural leadership style and ability to lead by example.
Ability to earn respect and support/commitment even when making difficult decisions.
Technical knowledge of cement chemistry and manufacturing, mining operations, and raw materials and maintenance management.
Solid technical knowledge in all fundamental aspects of cement manufacturing process.
Knowledge of ISO Standards and certification process (e.g. quality, operations, maintenance, environmental, mining operations, cement chemistry)
Required Skills
Additional business qualification (e.g. MBA) will be advantageous.
