Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing companys overall supply chain and logistics strategy and to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
Duties & Responsibilities
Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, and profitability maximization, by identifying cost savings, cost avoidance and efficiency opportunities across.
Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Works with functional business peers in commercial, operations, finance, and marketing to improve the forecasting process and overall planning execution to sustain high levels of customer satisfaction, while reducing costs and improving working capital turnover.
Demand Planning & Purchasing
Monitor the process of importation of goods, controlling the transit phases of the same and respective documentation.
Assure new product introduction plans (local and imports) are fully coordinated with and consider supplier delivery capabilities.
Ensure that store orders are processed properly.
Inventory Management
Monitors and corrects inventory levels to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
Manage and improve inventory turns and reduce obsolescence across all warehouse locations.
Oversee all direct supply chain and product related spend.
Warehousing & Transportation
Supervise all supply and distribution services to ensure that the explicit and implicit needs of the company and its internal and external customers are met.
Monitor and direct the activities of the warehouse officers in what concerns the management of employees, equipment, and the means available.
Develop and manage warehouse and logistics budgets
Supports proper utilization of ERP system, working with the IT team to ensure that ERP procedures, reports and inputs are correctly done.
Be ethical, anti-bribery, health, safety and environmentally conscious in the discharge of assigned duties.
Perform other ancillary duties on behalf of the Company as and when assigned.
Key Skills
Must have 5 years Supply Chain Experience from a Retail / FMCG / Consumer Goods or Manufacturing Environment
