Workshop Manager - Lusaka

Our Client, a world leading company that deals in Power Generation, Engine Business and Genuine Parts is recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join their team in Lusaka.


Duties and Responsibilities include but are not subject to:
Planning and monitoring work within the workshop, supervising the Space Instrument makers
Undertaking manufacturing and assembly jobs
Managing stock levels (e.g. materials, fixings and tooling)
Report on workloads, participating in project reviews and giving advice to project managers and team leaders
Maintaining material, fasteners and databases
General administration for personnel and record keeping
Quality control


Key Skills
A thorough understanding of and experience with machining and fitting techniques.
A thorough understanding and experience with specialised coatings, painting and plating.
Experienced in working with ultra clean instruments inside class 100 cleanrooms.
Good interpersonal and organisational skills able to motivate people.
Proven record of ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines.
