Head all sales and marketing activities of company manufacturing uPVC, PPR an HDPE pipes and fittings in Malawi, covering marketing in neighbouring countries being Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Assume the lead role in driving top line growth and expansion of market share in a time bound manner.
Gather market intelligence aggressively and recommend strategic plans and sales schemes in order to retain the position of the company as the market leader within Malawi and the SE. African region.
Explore market potential for diversification and expansion of the manufacturing facility.
Basic fixed overseas savings of USD 1500 to 2000 per month depending on education and relevant experience. A local salary which is equivalent of USD 750 after taxes will be payable every month locally in Malawi Kwacha. A performance bonus of up to USD 250 per month is payable subject to performance.
Car fuelled and maintained by the company will be provided by the company for official and personal use.
There will be a probation period of 6 months which will be within the contract priod.
Family Status and accommodation
On successful completion of probation, family status will be granted along with furnished family accommodation. During the probation period, furnished bachelor accommodation will be provided by the company.
20 days per year of completed service
Return passage once every two years to hometown will be provided to the employee and family which includes two dependent children below the age of 18.
School fees for up to 2 dependent children below the age of 18 will be borne by the company subject to company norms.
The contract will be for a period of 24 months which excludes 20 days paid vacation for every 12 months of service. The contract will be renewable on mutual agreement.
Experience of 4 years in both B2B and B2C Sales of plastic pipes and fittings or related products - minimum.
African market experience will be an added advantage.
